My daily Makeup Routine

When choosing the best makeup, I recommend Artista Cinema Makeup. My advice is you must always start with the face before anything else. Although I’d recommend that you groom your brows first before doing your face makeup.

So here’s what you need to do in an orderly fashion:

Step 1 –

Step 2 –

Once the primer has dried, I can now apply my foundation. You can choose to apply with your ring finger (if you’re in a hurry), a sponge, or a foundation brush. But when it comes to foundation, the secret to getting that flawless coverage is to blend your foundation smoothly and evenly.

How I use it? First, I take a small amount of foundation and put it on my skin hand then I take a little to put on my entire face. If you’re using BB cream, this is also the time to use it.

Do note that there are people who will tell you to apply concealer first before foundation, as this is an acceptable practice for some. However, we do not encourage this. Now it’s time to layer your concealer. In some cases, foundation will be enough to cover dark undereye circles, acne spots, and other red areas of the face. But for some people, they need concealer for more coverage. So just apply the concealer under the eyes by drawing a triangle and then blending out smoothly. Feel free to do spot concealing as well.

You wouldn’t want all those effort to go to waste once you head out the door right? The sun can easily melt away your foundation and concealer, so it is a must that you lock it in place with setting powder. Using a powder brush, just gently pat setting powder all over the face.

Step 5 –

The best place to put it depends on the shape of your face. You now have a smooth and almost flawless canvas. It’s time to add some colors! First, apply blush. How? There’s an ideal way to apply blush for every face type.

At the back of Retail box of Artista Hoho is mention the type of face. For women with tanned skin, they prefer layering bronzer on top of blush as well. Bronzers will give you a sunkissed glow.

Creamy Contour Palette that enhance, define and sculpt the structure of face. Artista Masterbalanced Be Amazing™ is a Japanese makeup technique that uses to define, enhance and sculpt the structure of the face or other body parts. If you want your look to last way past Happy Hour, you need to incorporate heavier, creamier textures into your contouring routine as they tend to cling to the skin for longer. If you're at a special event and want your make-up to show up in pictures, you need to invest in both cream and powder products to intensify the look. How To Contour 1. Again, apply a full face of Artista Masterbalanced Primer and next to Artista Masterbalanced foundation before you begin. 2. If you want your cheekbones to really pop, reverse the steps. Taking the darker cream, define your cheekbones using the tapered line method and draw or paint a series of dashes or dots just below your hairline. Continue to draw a line along the length of your jaw and repeat step four (above) to slim down your nose. 3. Using the Artista brush, blend this into the skin using swift but gentle buffing motions and layer over these areas with a powder bronzer in a similar hue. Using a fluffy brush, swirl the bronzer up to the apples of your cheeks for a natural glow. 4. With your Artista Smart Fix concealer, start to highlight underneath your eyes (using the aforementioned upside down triangle method) and continue to apply a little down the centre of your nose and in the centre of your forehead. Using a dampened Artista sponge, blend this into the skin and repeat this step again. 5. Plunge your damp Artista sponge into the Artista Banana loose powder, tap off the excess and apply underneath your eyes, down the centre of your nose and forehead and upon your chin - where you applied the lighter cream. Wait for a total of ten minutes - the heat from your face will help mesh the concealer and powder together, then, using a powder brush, simply dust the powder away. 6. If you're after razor sharp face structure, adorn the tops of your cheekbones and the tip of your nose with an iridescent highlighter. Now that you’ve added color, let’s add depth and dimension to the face. The ultimate secret for getting that perfectly defined face is to contour and highlight. Contouring is for defining the shadows on your face, while highlighting is brightening the areas of the face where the light hits the most.

Applying eyeshadow is the most fun part of doing your makeup, that’s because this is where you can really be creative with your look. Go matte, shimmer, or metallic–the spotlight will really be on your eyes. I highly recommend you use an eyeshadow brush to apply eyeshadow to make sure the application is even. Applying eyeliner is the trickiest part of eye makeup. Let me tell you, years and years of doing makeup and I still can’t achieve my perfect winged eyeliner by myself. What an accomplishment when I do! Applying eyeliner takes practice and you should really work on it as this is an important step to define the eyes.

You’re almost done with eye makeup and will just need some finishing touches. One of the last things to do is apply mascara on your lashes. Wearing false eyelashes is optional. You’d actually want to save it for special occasions. One of the common mistakes people make when wearing falsies is wearing it before applying mascara. Know that false eyelashes are curled to perfection already, so there’s really no need to curl them and apply mascara. Some people still do, but based on my experience, my falsies get damaged easily and I want to preserve my falsies for a couple of uses still.
